The practical questions

What QuotaWise knows—and what it doesn’t.

Which providers does QuotaWise track?

Codex and Claude Code. Codex limits come from the local authenticated app-server; both providers’ histories come from their local session files.

Are the percentages always exact?

Live Codex account limits and observed reset events are exact. Claude Code percentages and unknown historical reset seams can be estimates, and QuotaWise labels them accordingly.

What can a custom usage limit do?

At a threshold you choose, an experimental weekly limit can send a notification, keep an alert visible, pause active threads, or quit the provider and its active work.

Does QuotaWise upload my usage data?

No. Processing is local. QuotaWise does not upload prompts, responses, tokens, project names, or account data.
